Please Mr. Controller - CONTROL!!
By Arthur Webster of Ask Old Coot
Dear USA, Whoever is in control (or supposed to be) of your UK sleeper agent, David Cameron, needs to be told to rein him in! While Tony Blair was a consummate liar and great prevaricator, the training from the White House does not appear to have 'taken' with DC. How can you allow your puppet to spread alarm and despondency at an even greater rate than you do, yourselves? That was a neat trick to get the Prime Minister of the UK to state that the USA was the senior partner in 1940 in the war against Nazism. Maybe at that point you should have been asking about his capacity to learn facts? Upsetting Pakistan with his diatribe against exporting terror (that is straight out of 'How to Scare the Public' by GWB) was going just a bit too far. You have already seen how gullible he is so maybe you should temper your terror lessons with the acknowledgement of his apparent mental age? It was also startling (though no surprise to those who bothered to find out) to discover that DC did not seem to know that Afghanistan has never been ruled by a central government. Surely you could have told him that there were disparate tribal territories and leaders that have to be subjugated before centralisation could even be discussed? Now you have him believing that Iran has a nuclear weapon! If you have trained DC to be an agent provacateur, you have over-cooked the pudding a little. I realise that the prime minister of UK should be a big boy, all grown up and educated, but in the circumstances, maybe you should consider him as one loose cannon too many!

Contributor's Note
If the USA is not controlling David Cameron and the UK (certainly) isn't, maybe we should find out who is?

Be careful, the CIA might come knockin' at your door some time soon - and it won't be to deliver a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken!

Ahh. So THEY are the controllers?
It's all reminiscent of George W. who made similar gaffs when talking about...well...anything.

CONTRIBUTOR'S REPLY
That's true enough but GW could get away with it because he had the necessary naïvety of character. DC is supposed to be an intelligent man - able to do a little research before writing his speeches apart from receiving constant briefings from those who are supposed to keep him up to date.
Thank you for keeping the political fires simmering, Arthur. Many politicians forget to put their brain in gear, before they put their mouth in motion. They relie on their advisers and not their heads and hearts. Keep up the good work. It's good to be back, I've missed the dialogue!! Best wishes. Frederick

Thanks Frederick. What a pity freedom of speech and expression does not work here. I see that this intel has a rating of only two and a half stars - I guess too many Americans either don't understand what I wrote or did understand and decided I was too close to the truth. You can imagine the strife if I rated intel on whether or not I agreed with it rather than the way in which it was presented.
